Alasdair qualified and thereafter worked as a solicitor with Slaughter and May. Practised since in West Country with Burges Salmon and latterly as a partner with Freeth Cartwright LLP in Nottingham. Alasdair joined Clark Holt in July 2006 as a partner.
Alasdair's main area of specialisation is commercial property development work and he is retained by a major listed development company. He also has substantial experience in relation to property investment work and secured lending including property and development finance.
Interests - Travel, Italianophile (food and language), languages, walking and cycling.

Jonathan was admitted as a solicitor in 1989 and was a partner in the corporate department of Maxwell Batley, subsequently Maxwell Winward since 1994. He joined Clark Holt in January 2008, as a Partner.
Specialises in private company and asset acquisitions and disposals, joint ventures and shareholder agreements. Additionally Jonathan's practice as an experienced banking and finance lawyer covers property, development and acquisition finance, onshore and offshore investment and regulatory guidance.
Hobbies include family, property restoration, antiques and country sports.

Karron trained and qualified as a solicitor at Ashurst. On qualification in 1993 she took up a post in their banking department before moving into commercial property work with Michelmores in Exeter.
Karron joined Clark Holt in 1998 and undertakes all manner of non-contentious commercial property work. She has much experience dealing with investment properties and property portfolios and the refinancing of them. In particular she has acted for Fortis Bank SA-NV and RBS Natwest on secured lending matters on numerous occasions throughout her time at Clark Holt.
Karron spends much of her leisure time gardening, often assisted by her two young children!

Joined Clark Holt in June 2006 having worked previously for a number of major regional firms.
Roger has 28 years experience in all aspects of commercial proprty and property related business sales and acquisitions especially in the healthcare and leisure sector. As well as acting for a number of landlords and tenants Roger's other speciality is property-related finance work. James was admitted as a solicitor in 2006 and was an associate in the Commercial Property Department of Burges Salmon LLP. He joined Clark Holt in December 2009.
James specialises in secured lending, development and investment finance, freehold and leasehold acquisitions and disposals, and insolvency/enforcement law.
Hobbies include surfing and snowboarding (and finding buyers for his battered surfboards and snowboards), basketball, writing bad novels and performing and producing music.

Phillipa joined Clark Holt in 2009 as a commercial property lawyer with over 20 years' experience, having previously worked for two leading national law firms, Beachcrofts in Bristol and more recently, Irwin Mitchell where she acted for major high street retailers.
She advised retailers in connection with the management of their lease portfolios. Phillipa has experience acting for both the private and public sector in connection with a wide variety of commercial property work.
She is married, lives in Wiltshire with her husband Alasdair and two girls, enjoys walking, skiing, cycling, cookery and the theatre.
